VOLUME II: When the lessons of the past catapult you into the future.
I'm gonna say no... Had to look it up, found "hamad" - "desire, take pleasure"
I am a Hebrew idiot, but isn't that hamad (which I think is covet) or something like that? Here is a link I found that has the word hesed written on the page in Hebrew (forget the actual content of the page since it looks like wacky crap anyway :-)http://www.biblicalheritage.org/Bible%20Studies/hesed.htm
Oh yeah, my friend saved me from having 'precious' permanantly tattooed on my ankle.
It's ok Lorna, it's not actually on there. This is just a sketch.
yeah, I'm saying its not. I like the idea though! Nice for a tattoo.
I don't know, ws, "precious" on your ankle could be very, very special
Me, on the other hand, would have enjoyed calling you precious from here on out.In fact, I may still do that.Hey. What are friends for?
"Desirable object" is the exact translation - so go right ahead.
Ok. all I can think of when I hear "precious" is Gollum (Smeagol) from Lord of the Rings....
Rats! i was so excited to have a Hebrew thing that I KNEW! They all beat me to it!
I'm hoping to get Psalm 133.1 around my wrist or ankle someday - it sounds even better in Hebrew than it does in English.
I do love that the tattoo posts are labeled "self care." Damn straight.
