Dear weather gods...

I am for the snow. Really. LOVE the snow.

I am not a fan of the freezing rain, especially on top of said snow when a certain 3 year old is trapped in my house and yet thinks that there is perfectly good snow outside that I am keeping him away from due to my inherent evil nature.

Please be advised...

We just hit 80 inches of snow yesterday. 80 inches.

It's always hot here. Always. I don't think I've worn a sweater more than twice this winter.

Sigh.

We're supposed to get 8-10" here today. If we don't have some warm weather and leaves on the trees soon, I'm gonna hurt someone.

We had the snow, then the freezing rain, and now just plain old rain.

I'm almost glad, since my 8-year old would so want to be outside right now. Except he can't - on doctor's orders - due to a cold with a "spasmodic cough." He feels so persecuted because gym & outside recess was taken away for the rest of the week.

It's hard bein' 8!

Rev Kim:

Please don't hurt me...leaves on the trees are scheduled to arrive June 1 or thereabouts.

WS: I can't blame him for being annoyed--do you have any idea how fast a sled can travel on top of a crust of ice-glazed snow? Could be the first three year-old to break to sound barrier, given enough of a hill.

Oh, and we have mountains and a couple of churches looking out here in the wild west, should you be so inclined.

This kind of reminds me of that great Monty Python skit about the Complaints department.

Thank you for officially lodging this complaint with the weather gods. I would be happy with anything besides freezing off my bee-hind.

Here we had beautiful snow yesterday and freezing rain this morning and drizzling rain now.
I'm with you: not happy, not pretty, not safe.

Snow, then sleet than rain. My feet got soaked to the bone as I got out of my car yesterday. Stepped in a huge puddle in the church parking lot. Nothing like doing ministry with cold feet. bbbbrrrrr.

This is the nice thing about the garage. We back the cars out and let the toddler ride his bike in there. It's chilly, but not sleeting.
